Provide SQL Server expertise within the development team and propose design recommendations. • Recommend appropriate index additions or changes to optimize query performance. • Structure ETL for maximum performance and parallelization through SSIS job flows. • Implement SQL Agent job schedules. • Support the operation of daily production loads and run book documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve any processing issues. • Collaborate with IT groups and monitor database performance to ensure daily Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. • Support data analysis inquiries from business partners and present results. Identify new rules for monitoring data quality.
