NYC, NY (FTF Interview Is Required After The Phone Screen) 6 Months Contract Responsibilities include: KEY: --Assists in defining and reviewing the technical requirements for the application, including security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements --Conduct work environment planning to ensure the work environment meets the need of the project. --Conducts infrastructure assessments as necessary --Review and refine hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the solution --Works with the client's Infrastructure Engineers to determine how the solution will be supported in production, including o Back-ups o Disaster recovery o System performance -- Assist in the configuration of the infrastructure --Provide oversight to Avanade System Engineer --There is one (1) Systems Architect staffed on this project PRIMARY: --Work with Infrastructure Architect on technical design of the AX infrastructure --Perform non-AX software and hardware installation on non-Production environments --Work with Systems Engineer to setup and configure the PROJECT, DEVEVELOPMENT, BUILD, TFS and TEST servers) --Responsible for the daily functioning of the operating system and SQL Databases --Responsible for the functioning of the Dynamics AX application --Technical Help-desk function for internal users --Managing user profiles and authorizations --Perform periodic backups of environments and data --Makes all final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security. --Design and execute performance testing (if necessary) SECONDARY: --Assist in setting up the non-Production environment for the Plan-Design stages --Install and setup Dynamics AX software and related 3rd-Party modules --Assist in designing non-Production Environments including PROJECT, BUILD, DEVELOPMENT, TFS, and TEST --Setup and configure Development VMs for Solution Developers --Work with client's Infrastructure Engineers to setup and configure the PROJECT, DEVELOPMENT, BUILD, and TFS servers once the base images are completed by the client --Provide AX environment support as needed --Perform routine AX environment maintenance BELOW ARE SOME MORE DETAILED ACTIVITIES THAT HELPS DEFINE THE ROLE --Build PREPROD SQL SERVER --Build Pre-Prod Sandbox --Build Pre-Prod Project --Upgrade AX Demo Data to CU7 and bring into Sandbox_Demo --Install and configure Avanade Rapid Value in Sandbox_Demo --Build AX Base environment --Build AXDEVELOP1 environment --Build AXBUILD environment --Help the client's IT setup Citrix for AX and Team Explorer --Server patching and some support activities --Assist in installing/conversion of client assets --Exporting Model Store from AXDEVELOP1 Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
