Optional qualifications / desirable: - Ability to identify new tools or techniques that are not currently in use (e.g., Mind Maps, process modeling, etc.) that have the potential to improve on the current process and outcomes, and bringing these to the attention of the IT Services management team. - Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation. - Knowledge of / experience with ITIL v3. Description: The Business Analyst facilitates business process and IT service improvement via the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes. The BA will manage the requirements development process through the elicitation, analysis, specification and verification of multiple levels of requirements (business, stakeholder, solution) and support the ongoing management of the requirements. BA’s create viable and consumable specifications including acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction and testing of IT solutions, and validation of the solution with end users and stakeholders. This is an important role, and will be interfacing with executive management and stakeholders as well as in-house technical and business staff, 3rd party vendors and service providers, as well as members of the organization across the country as well as overseas. *We will be engaging multiple Business Analysts for varying types of projects. Specific experience with different types of enterprise applications or challenges will further refine the requirements for these individual roles.
