Position: *Sybase Data Base Administrator* Location: Seattle, Washington Duration: 2 year contract F2F after the phone screen Database expertise, specifically in Sybase ASE and IQ, SQL Server and DB2 develoment and administration. Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. Duties include performance tuning, monitoring, software installs and upgrades, UNIX shell scripting, and physical and logical database design.
