Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs, shell scripts, PL/SQL, cron, or other techniques. 8 to 10 years of SQL Server Database administration experience. (2000, 2005, 2008, 2012) Expert level of SQL Server RDBMS installation/configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tracking/tuning, back-up/recovery, remote monitoring skills with hands-on experience in -large and very dynamic environments. Experience with SQL Server Cluster, Replication, Log Shipping for HA/DR. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with very complex database environments. Must have experience in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
