Please send me resumes at [email protected] Job Title: IT User Interface / Interaction Designer Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 12 month contract Client: AEP C2C All Inclusive Rate: is $45 - $50/HR Interview: Phone Interview and onsite interview- if not local then SKYPE Interview Hire We are looking for an IT User Interface/Interaction designer that will work with an application development team and the Commercial Operations business unit to define and design the user interface screens for a Trade and Risk application. This individual should have a solid working background in User Experience and Graphic Design. *Responsibilities* • Conduct storyboarding sessions. This includes validating UI requirements, screen definition, and information/data flow. • Development of wireframes and prototypes • Create graphics/UI elements for an application • Ensure look and feel consistency in the application UI design • Coordinate the implementation of the UI with a technical team • Be able to perform user research if needed. This can include task analysis, collaborative design sessions, usability studies, field studies, etc. *Qualifications* • 3+ years in UI/Web design experience- REQUIRED • 3+ years of experience in developing low and high fidelity prototypes • Experience in using Axure RP Pro tool for creating prototypes REQUIRED • Experience using Morae software (or equivalent tool) for performing user studies is desired • Understanding of working with/designing for a .NET application development environment • Fully versed in HTML and CSS • Background in Photoshop/Illustrator • Background in Dreamweaver • Knowledge of JavaScript is desired • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently • Experience with UI Information Architecture • Works well in a team environment and can adapt to changing demands • Willing to work a flexible schedule.
