*Roles & Responsibilities:*

1.    Performs lead functions for the Help Desk group including training,
assigning and monitoring work, and attendance tracking. Signs time sheets.

2.    Provides information and assistance to internal and external auditors
during audits of contracts and Information Technology functions.

3.    Maintains communications with other departments to ensure systems
continually meet their expectations.

4.    Assists in the preparation of the annual division budget request and
monitors budget expenditures throughout the year.

5.    Installs and supports hardware and/or software; records and maintains
inventory control information and assists in the set-up and configuration
of computers for deployment.

6.    Maintains an inventory system for computer and printer consumables;
takes requests and fills orders for computer and printer supplies; assists
with general supply inventory; transports peripheral and supplies to
appropriate areas.

7.    Secures office area, computer facility and communications areas
throughout the day and ensures security at the end of the shift.

8.    Maintains 24/7 communications by pager (shift assigned) as 'initial
point of contact' for the District to report systems and/or computer
equipment failure; escalates request to appropriate administrator as
needed.

9.    Administers, updates and monitors asset tracking to ensure software
license compliance (software installed to software owned) and performs
software metering and usage analysis for the District's networked fixed and
mobile computers.

10.  Participates in new training and conducts training for staff members.

11.  Updates and maintains operator documentation.
