Position: *Oracle OTL Functional Consultant*
Duration: 2 year contract
Location: Houston, TX

*Additional Details:*

*Functional Support including:*

• Application configuration to global and regional specific functional
requirements
• Custom enhancements – functional specification definition and technical
specification review
• Interfaces and integration – coordination of source and target system
technical and data dependencies
• Production Support - application error analysis and resolution,
coordination with various IT teams in accordance with IT policies and
procedures to migrate solutions to production environments.
• Testing – preparation of test scenarios, test plans; execution of
technical unit testing, coordination of Business and IT integration testing
- functional testing / user acceptance testing and securing of business
certifications; coordination and participation in regression testing /
stress and volume testing with Quality Assurance organization.
• End user incident management support in coordination with business
support organization and IT help desk to manage tickets
• Preparation and maintenance of application documentation - business
process flows; business process procedures; diagrams; job aids; application
instructions
• Global subject matter expert coordination and communications
• Audit support
• Support interfaces with various HCM vendors and internal/external systems

BS degree in computer science / information systems / accounting or
equivalent.

• 5-8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM implementations and/or support,
with particular emphasis on Oracle Time and Labor
• Extensive knowledge of R12 Oracle Time and Labor configuration and fast
formula development
• Extensive knowledge of the integration between Oracle HR, Payroll, OTL,
GL, and Projects
• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing and supporting interfaces
• Experience / familiarity with other HCM applications: iRecruitment, Human
Resources, Talent Management, Payroll, and Self Service
• Ability to research, solve and deploy reported Oracle issues quickly and
independently
• Basic level of knowledge and experience in Oracle database tables
relating to Payroll and Human Resources
• Knowledge and experience in Oracle's Service Request process
• Proficiency / experience working with reporting technologies and tools,
including EiS and OBIEE
• Advanced analytical skills
• Strong project planning and management skills, including comfort in
making operational decisions, monitoring progress, taking corrective action
and reporting results
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and mentoring abilities
• Superior organizational skills and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Extensive working knowledge of Hire to Retire business processes
• Demonstrated ability to work in matrix team environments, including
strong business interface capability.
