Citrix Admin Houston, TX, United States 6 months+ $50/hr Requisition Details: Citrix Job Description – Position Details: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Extensive prior experience in designing, building, and administering Citrix environments is required, specifically with Citrix XenApp 5.0, 6.5 and related products. Candidate MUST be directly responsible for • 10+ years of hands-on Citrix XenApp experience. • Experience with Citrix Administration to include Application Publishing, Testing and migration. Knowledge of PowerShell coding to be used with Citrix XenApp is a must. This job requires direct interface with end customers and all applicants must be professional with high communication skills and documentation skills as well as process oriented. Applications must demonstrate a high willingness to learn a new environment with multiple OS technologies, Citrix versions and various application technologies • Experience configuring, deploying, and operating the following related Citrix products: Provisioning Services, Secure Gateway, Web Interface, NetScaler, Access Gateway and Profile Management. • Knowledge of theories of technology: XenApp, Internet Information Server, F5, Database technologies such as SQL Server and Oracle, Batch processing servers. • Experience migrating users from prior versions of Citrix Presentation Server 4.5, Xenapp 5.0 to XenApp 6.5. • Experience managing Microsoft Windows Server 2003 through 2012 in an enterprise environment. • Microsoft Windows Scripting with Power Shell, .Net, or VB Script is must. • Certification preferred: CCA XenApp or CCA XenDesktop. 2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
