*Job Description:*

The Domain Data Architect holds responsibility for conceiving, organizing
and designing *Healthcare domain *models under various domain areas.  The
architect is the owner for developing and maintaining data dictionary,
canonical schema, and logical data model of Web Insure family of Health-IT
products and integrating them with the *HIPAA X12 EDI* Standards and
potentially other standards such as the HL7. The architect is an expert in
the understanding and application of *HIPAA X12* transaction standards and
how they influence the respective business processes and acts as an SME to
the product and implementation teams in hCentive.  The architect
establishes design guidelines for Web Insure Canonical (WIC) schema design
and establishes how they map to industry standards such as the X12 EDI.
The architect has a broader view of data use across the Web Insure family
of products and accordingly leverages best practices on data design.  The
architect keeps track of upgrades and revisions in related industry
standards and their adoption in the ACA regulated Public Exchanges.



*Major Job Responsibilities:*

   - Product Data Design: Responsible for the design of WebInsure
   Canonicals, logical data model in alignment with public standards such as
   the HIPAA X12 EDI and the maintenance of a data dictionary.
   - Oversees approval process for changes to WebInsure Canonicals and
   logical data models and tracks versions used in conjunction with product
   releases defined by the product roadmap.
   - X12 and Healthcare Data SME: Acts as an SME, HIPAA EDI Expert for
   Product and Implementation teams to assist, train technical resources and
   business analysts.
   - Customer Projects: Provides assistance to implementation groups and
   leads major EDI and Canonical related discussions and customer requirements
   for integration
   - Training and Coaching: Develops and maintains training material
   related to EDI, Canonicals and trains various groups
   - Standards Upgrade:  Keeps track of HIPAA / HL7 Industry standards,
   Public Exchange EDI Companion Guides and ensures that WebInsure family of
   products are up to date with the standards.



*Competencies: *

   - Expert in HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions and with hands-on knowledge on
   5010 TR3 Guide, HIPAA SNIP Compliance levels, Business rule validations
   - Strong implementation experience in 5010 transactions, EDI life cycle
   management in national and regional health plan environments.
   - Thorough grasp of Healthcare data, transactions and how they influence
   various Health Plan business processes such as eligibility, enrollment,
   billing, claims etc.
   - Strong team leadership skills and sound judgment skills
   - Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
   - Great problem solving and situation analysis skills
   - Strong team collaborator and motivator
   - Highly detail oriented and a great task master
   - Hands-on, entrepreneurial individual
   - Experience in interfacing with customers of all sizes
   - Ability to conduct customer workshops with Business and IT
   stakeholders to validate requirements
   - Outstanding presentation skills, strong storyboarding and Power point
   skills

*Industry Expertise*

   - A good understanding of Healthcare (Health Plan and/or Health Systems)
   business processes would be required
   - Industry certification (e.g. AHIP) would be a PLUS
   - Experience and understanding of Healthcare Reform Act and Health
   Insurance Exchange Domain would be a plus
   - Industry authorship would be a plus

*Technology Expertise*

   - Strong understanding and experience in Business Application Software
   Product Development, preferably in a Health IT environment.
   - Experience in EDI data mapping, EDI compliance tools is a plus

*Education*

   - BS or MS from a reputed University
