· Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting in virtual server
environment (ours is EMC hardware, running VMWare) and web-enabled system
environment
· Learning, documenting, and taking ownership of assigned areas of
the server infrastructure, and taking proactive steps when problems are
observed or reported.
· Self-motived person who works effectively without close
supervision (after training of course) and can work and communicate
effectively with coworkers and managers, and especially on special project
teams set up to troubleshoot priority issues, e.g., server or web
response/performance problems.
