.Net developer Houston, TX, United States 6 months+ Requisition Details: Design, develop, maintain, enhance and support .NET application programs and processes. Interface with clients to determine requirements, resolve issues and determine cost estimates. Provide subject matter expertise to the business client in order to assist with problem solving and as a resource for training and development Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Work with internal customers to understand business requirements to ensure excellent service • Develop applications using Object Oriented technology or conventional languages in a SQL, .Net and Web CMS (SDL and Wordpress) environments. • Lead by following the Systems Development Methodology (SDM) to define requirements, design applications, code, test, and install developed applications. When required, deliver a • prototype before launching a complete system. • Provide user support on IT developed applications and follow up with management, customers and team members to ensure customer satisfaction. • Lead in developing business and technical design of applications. Document and / or help team members document user and programmer’s guides on applications developed. • Develop quality applications by setting up procedures, tools, etc. to reduce system development time and enhance quality. • Provides guidance and assistance to the applications users and support teams on all aspects of application deployment, training and support, including, Installation, Configuration, • First and second tier support, First and second tier troubleshooting All qualified applicants will possess these minimum requirements: • 3+ years’ experience in applications development with Microsoft .Net 4.0, VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net web forms, user controls, web parts, web services, SQL, JQuery, DNN, XML, XSLT, CSS, and HTML 5 using a SDM. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be an organized, detail-oriented team player with the ability to work within a fast-paced, multi-task environment. • Experience with mobile web and mobile application development is desirable. • Familiarity with agile development techniques. • Knowledge of Visual Studio 2010, TFS, and SQL Server 2008 R2 and Object oriented programming concepts. 2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
