*Title: IP Networking Consultant* *Duration: 3 months+* *Location: New Jersey * *Pay rate: Open* * * *Project Details:* Supporting research, analysis, and planning activities to support a Digital Media Solutions product offering for Client. Must Have Skills: Telecom industry consulting or carrier IP networking product engineering experience, telecom carrier Internet Protocol (IP) data networking knowledge of routing and switching fundamentals, including common Layer 3 (L3) and application layers 4 to 7 (L4-L7) Internet protocols (including TCP, UDP, ICMP, DNS, BGP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTP, RTSP, SNMP, etc.), packet routing and switching concepts and data attributes (including TTL, traceroutes, multihomed topologies, routing tables); IP network traffic analysis, some software systems requirements and design experience *Note:* Candidate needs consultative technical skills for client problem analysis, analytical software systems solution design, and development and documentation of system requirements. However, candidate does not need to be an experienced network engineer who can design actual IP networks.
