NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR RATE - $35/HOUR LOCATION - AUSTIN, TX DURATION - 700 HOURS SKILLS 4 Experience Configuring, maintaining and monitoring routers and switches 4 In-depth knowledge of Routing, Switching, and Quality of Service configuration 4 Ability to identify appropriate network infrastructure solutions and lead the deployment of such solutions 4 Knowledge and experience with RIP, OSPF and BGP, Fiber-Channel over Ethernet 4 IPv4 knowledge 4 Expert skills on IP protocol stack and proficient with network analyzer 4 Expert skills with troubleshooting/problem solving 4 Expert skills in report writing, documentation and technical presentations 4 Knowledge of network facilities and data processing techniques, of personal computer hardware and software, of network operating system and security software, and of performance monitoring and capacity management tools 4 Ability to recognize, analyze, and resolve network problems 2 Experience Configuring, maintaining and monitoring firewalls (ASA) 2 Knowledge of Layer Two (802.1p) 2 Knowledge of Layer Three (DSCP/CoS) Years Skill/Experience 2 IPv6 familiarity 2 IDS and IPS Technologies 2 802.1x 2 Able to read Packet Capture results 2 Netflow/Sflow/IPSLA Tools 2 NetScout Performance Manager, Sniffer, Infinistream 2 CCNA or higher WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS A. Configure, maintain and monitor firewalls (ASA firewalls) E. Perform tuning and capacity planning activities to enhance the performance of the network F. Install, test and maintain infrastructure network equipment G. Prepare and analyze statistics on network utilization and availability H. Monitor and analyze network traffic with network monitoring equipment I. Assists in maintaining the local area network, wide area network, Internet and Intranet, firewall, router, cable and switch installations and inventories J.
