Hello All, We have an urgent requirement with one of our Direct Client for Siebel DW/ETL Developer
Position: Siebel DW/ETL Developer Duration: 5 months Pay rate : $42 on corp to corp. Location : CHARLOTTE, North Carolina Primary Skills: Siebel Secondary Skills: UNIX Siebel OLAP: Working knowledge of the Siebel Data Warehouse: Key generation, WIDS, Slowly changing dimensions, basic table sources, etc. Concrete familiarity with OLTP-to-OLAP. Proven experience with EIM Data Loads. Siebel Data Warehousing: Multi Terabyte data warehousing experience. Understanding the design considerations for star schemas and its relationships. Understanding the concept of data rollups/aggregation, capacity planning, data standardization, slowly changing dimensions, and data security. Informatica (version 7.5 and up) or DataStage: Multiple project experience with Informatica. Ability to communicate design considerations using this tool. Practical experience in loading data, troubleshooting mappings, tuning mappings, etc. Teradata or Oracle Multi-terabyte data experience, demonstrates the basic ability/understanding to design data structures, performance tune data loads and ability to read/write BTEQ, PL/SQL. UNIX: Proven experience with reading and writing Shell Scripts (ksh). Ability to navigate, edit/find files, check disk space and transfer files. Knowledge of performance monitoring tools in the UNIX environment. Communication skills: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical users in both an oral and written manner. Must also be able to demonstrate ability to troubleshoot technology and business problems. Provide insight based on previous experience. Must work well independently and in a team environment Tasks and Responsibilities: Map and deploy Informatica mappings from various legacy source systems into Siebel Develop and execute test and implementation plans Plus Skills/Experience include: Siebel EIM: Ability to create and modify Siebel EIM IFB files. Knowledge of mapping EIM tables to Siebel base tables. Ability to troubleshoot EIM loads. Knowledge of Siebel visibility and list of value design considerations. Operating Systems: Unix AIX 5.1/5.2, Windows 2K, MVS/OS 390, AS400. Ability to navigate in these environments, ability to script technical solutions in each of these environments Business: Demonstrated knowledge in the financial services arena focusing on Annuity Products, Mutual Funds, Brokerage, etc Other Analytics Tools: Usage of Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Brio, Hyperion, Actuate or Crystal Other ETL Tools: DecisionStream, ETI, Ab Initio, Data Stage Other Databases: Teradata, DB2/UDB, ADABAS, MS SQL server Required education/experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. 10 plus years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and all system / applications software development. Serves as point of escalation for complex issues. Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff.
