Need: Mainframe Developer
Need Local to Tampa fl
Rate: $30/hr.
Duration: 18 months
Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and
documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more
user areas.
May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or
enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management
to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.
Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
Participate in the Functional Requirements sessions as a technical resource
and work with the IT BA on the Functional Design document.
2. Do technical research and analysis to design solutions to the functional
requirements identified.
3. Document the Detail Design including program changes, JCL, parms, and
run book information.
4. Support Developers to resolve questions or issues so they can continue
their work.
5. Provide work effort estimates as needed throughout the project life
cycle.
6. Provide production support as needed for existing processes.
7. Collaborate with Developers and attend all code reviews to ensure that
the code meets standards and is
written as designed.
8. Perform coding roles as needed by the project to meet deadlines.
9. Perform analysis and design as needed for change controls or IT requests
submitted by the Business or identified within IT.
10. Support the testing effort including participating in design efforts
needed to resolve defects identified during the testing phases.
