The Analyst is an active participant in all phases of a project lifecycle and will be required to work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met. Essential Functions: 1. Research, analyze, and recommend solutions which meet the business needs for new projects. Interface with business users and technical staff to translate business user requirements into technical documentation such as use cases, process diagrams, functional design documents, and other system documentation required by project lifecycle methodologies. 2. Identify and evaluate business process improvement opportunities for existing applications. 3. Assist in project estimation and planning activities. 4. Assist the Project Manager in identifying and managing project issues, risks, and scope creep. Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Motivated, self-starter. Strong leadership abilities. Capability to multitask effectively. Strong organization skills. Ability to interact with diverse personalities. Strong attention to detail. Willing to work overtime as needed. Job Requirements: Minimum Education Required: B.A. or B.S. Minimum Experience Required: (including years of experience) 7+ years experience as an Analyst in an IT related field. Experience working with Enterprise Software Systems.
