Description

Fannie Mae exists to expand affordable housing and bring global capital to
local communities in order to serve the U.S. housing market. Today, our
focus is on preventing foreclosures, making mortgages and rental housing as
affordable as possible, and supporting the housing recovery. We are rapidly
building and realigning our company to better serve the Markey as we support
the Administration’s Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan.



Job Information:



The group is responsible for ensuring that self-assessments are designed and
performed properly and appropriate corrective actions are undertaken. This
includes assurance of risk assessments, rick awareness, reporting and
tracking of results, risk mitigation, and timely resolution of issues
Operational Risk Analyst will be an integral part of the RCSA (Rick and
Control Self-Assessment) group responsible for self-assessments across
technology and Operations across business units in Fannie Mae.



Key Job Functions:

* Ensure the efficiency and coherence of the existing control organization,
both through the risk mapping exercise (inventory of activities and assets,
permanent controls, inherent risks and residual risks) also known as Risk
and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).

* Ensure that information risk control issues/gaps are documented clearly
and that remediation plans are developed to address them, as well as
investigation and resolving contrail incidents.

* Participate and where appropriate lead projects to improve or remediate
controls, with scope varying from individual lines business to FM as a
whole.

* Consolidate data for metrics and trending. Perform analytical assessment
of data to reach tactical and systemic conclusions. Deliver and present Risk
Metrics to stakeholders.

* Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships,
becoming a trusted partner to these groups.

* Drive integration of RCSA’s with feedback from front office areas to
ensure end-to-end risk picture is captured.

* Build a culture and climate focused on the pro-active awareness of, and
continuous improvements in, the operation and technology risk environment,
utilizing existing training materials and developing content where
applicable.

* Provide a flexible but structured approach to improving the controls
framework through the organization

* Ability to deliver training and awareness to various stakeholders.

* Provide informal, day to day coach and guidance to risk leads.



Education:

Bacherlor’s Degree or Equivalent required



Certifications (preferred):

CISA and/or CISM, CCSA, ITIL

Minimum Experience:

* 3-6 years of relevant experience

* Relevant experience in control, risk management

* Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

* Understanding of financial services, operations, technology and business
processes.

* Detailed knowledge of SDLC and IT Control Policies



Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

* COBIT/COSO Framework knowledge preferred

* Initiative and drive to succeed coupled with the ability to form strong
relationships with differing levels within business and technology.

* Ability to influence and drive cross-divisional coordination,
communication, influence and negotiation.

* Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities

* Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
