The Oracle developer/consultant will work in the Financials/HR Technical
Unit that is responsible for the support, maintenance,
enhancement/development, implementation, and upgrade of the E-Business
Suite. The



*scope of duties for the Oracle Developer/Consultant includes but is not
limited to the following the following Oracle E-Business Suite:*

•         Financials:  Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
General Ledger, Fixed Asset, Property Manager, Inventory,

•         HRMS:  Human Resources,  Learning Management with Content Server

•         Self-Service:  Internet Procurement, Self-Service Human Resources
(SSHR), iExpense

•         Workflow:  As embedded in the E-Business Suite



*This includes upgrades and support for the Release 12.0.6 and following
Oracle Financial projects:*

·         Implement iSupplier Portal

·         Rollout of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT/ACH)

·         Implement Oracle AR for Policy Billing

·         Implement Oracle iExpense

·         Enable Punchouts in iProcurement

·         Implement Oracle GL (migrate legacy GL data into Oracle GL)

·         Implement Oracle Projects



Client  at their discretion, can utilize Consultant resources in any
capacity to meet the needs of State Fund.  Consultant resources may be
assigned by Client to lead teams, work independently, work on teams lead by
Clients, Consultant resources or, teams lead by other consulting firms.

*Tasks:*

The Oracle Developer/Consultant will provide primary support for Oracle
Financials modules with in depth focus on “Procure to Pay” modules
(iProcurement, Purchasing, Payables). Oracle Consultant shall provide
support for other modules. Experience in the other Financials and HR
modules listed above is a definite plus.   The Oracle Developer/Consultant
will perform professional software development and maintenance



*functions to include, but not be limited to the following:*

•             Subject matter expert for all Oracle Financials/HR related
matters to include:

o             Audits, such as, KPMG, CDI, MAR, confidential investigations,
Internal Audit

•             Product Support the Oracle Financials/HR applications

•             Create ad hoc reports for Oracle Financials/HR as requested

•             Create, test and implement SQL updates and integration as
needed

•             Project Manager/Technical Resource for Oracle Financials/HR
related projects

•             Coordinate meetings/communications with the Oracle Fin/HR
User Community

·         Mentor New Employees

·         Provide End User Support and Training

·         Ensure that all I.T. requirements (documentation, sign-off, and
approvals) are completed

*The Oracle Developer/Consultant shall possess most of the following
technical skills and experience:*

•       Current knowledge of trends in IT and experience in the development
of new technologies

•         5 years + experience with application systems development life
cycle methodology.

•         5 years + experience as project manager with a proven ability to
provide project leadership.

•         4 years + experience with organizational data requirements and
complex business rules, translating them into detailed program
specifications.

•         4 years + experience in developing effective solutions for new or
modified systems, including developing and modifying interfaces.

•         4 Years + experience in Oracle Forms, Reports and Self-Service
forms development and customization

•         4 Years + experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Sql*Loader

•         3 years + experience with coding computer languages with specific
experience in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher.

•         3 years + functional experience with Oracle Financials/HR with
in-depth focus on iProcurement, Purchasing, Payables, Receivables and
General Ledger.

•         3 years + experience providing assistance, advice, and guidance
to project team members on relational database design concepts, application
development, efficient production job design, testing concepts, and other
specialties

•         Extensive knowledge in Oracle R12’s Payment module including
creating Electronic Payment Instructions using standard or customized NACHA
formats.

•         Extensive knowledge of data access methods.

•         Extensive knowledge of Oracle Workflow.

•         Knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented and/or relational
data base concepts and principles.

•         Experience with transferring financial data and information to
financial partners using secured FTP protocols and methodology.

•         Experience in leading a project team.

•         Experience with testing concepts and techniques promoting
applications to production

•         Experience evaluating vendor software packages.

•         Experience in coordinating and consulting with software vendors
for product utilization.
