* Needs to have at least 6 years implementation/monitoring experience and troubleshooting. Need: - SQL Database Administrator II - Opex Location: Atlanta, GA Job Description: Database administration position involving management of multiple SQL databases in a highly dynamic environment. Work as part of a team in support of operational and project related activities. Provide technical and operational support to other departments and teams as required in support of business objectives. Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: * Display strong inter-personal and communication skills. * Provide 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members. * Provide troubleshooting for applications and systems. * Provide technical support for database related project activities. * Perform installs and upgrades of rdbms and associated software including third party tools. * Competence with most SQL utilities such as BCP, DTS, etc * Competence with basic database administration activities such as backup, recovery, etc. * Competence with T-SQL and knowledge of stored procedures, UDFs and triggers. * Competence with various monitoring and tuning tools such as Profiler, Precise, Spotlight. * Competence with shell scripting (i.e. command line applications, batch files, etc.) * 2-4 years experience in a SQL environment. * Solid experience with Windows operating system. * Experience with 3rd party monitoring tools like Quest Fogligh, PA and Confio Ignite and implementation * MS-SQL Cluster and Replication , SQL 2008 and 2012 * A degree in computer science or equivalent experience. --------------------------- Thanks & Regards Srikanth Asuri Kindly submit your consultant profile to above Email ID.
