THIS IS A Microsoft BI SME /ARCHITECH Job Title: DATA Architect Lead/Project Manager (MS SQL Server Expert) Start: ASAP Duration: 1 Year Contract. Location: Fargo, ND Interview: Phone/Skype Rate: Open and Best Role Description: · *Responsible for delivering business value to customers by architecting effective information systems solutions that address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities. * o Perform the detailed data analysis. Verify natural keys through SQL queries against the source databases. o Develop the enterprise data architecture for operational data stores, MDM data stores, integration data stores, data warehouses, and analytics hubs and data marts. o Develop data modeling standards. · *Knowledge of BI architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools and understands how to apply this knowledge to successfully deliver customer projects.* o Proficient with one or more leading data modeling tools such as Erwin, Enterprise Architect, PowerDesigner, etc. § Develop the conceptual data model(s). § Develop the logical data model(s). · Proficient with SQL with emphasis on the SELECT statement. · Develop entity and attribute descriptions and definitions for the models and ensure that conflicts in descriptions and definitions are resolved. o Identify the key facts and dimensions necessary to support the business requirements. o Conduct User Interviews and Data Analysis Review meetings. o Conduct sessions to review and vet the data architecture and data models. o Perform source data quality assessments. · Identify the appropriate data sources with the assistance of the business analyst. · Perform the activities necessary to support the standardization of facts and dimensions. · Prepare prototype data models to support the development efforts. Desired Skills and Experience: *• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.* *• Minimum of 7+ years Data warehouse, BI and analytics experience* *• Microsoft BI/SQL Server including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS* *• Data integration using MDM services is a plus (Microsoft/Spherion/MDM Server).* *• Healthcare background –Provider or payer.
