*Job Tittle: SAS DeveloperLocation: Deerfield,ILDuration: 3+ Months Contract* *Qualifications: * BASE SAS, Advanced SAS, SAS SQL, Oracle & Unix SAS Management Console, SAS Business Intelligence, SAS Web Report Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Stored Processes, Unix, Active Control Templates, SAS Metadata Security, SAS user group creation and management - Evaluate current SAS/KSH programs for future enhancements as well as to identify and resolve bottlenecks. - Assist in investigating and applying new SAS programming methods and techniques to enhance current systems by using various SAS macros and standard programming procedures. - Work as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for validation of various developed process. - Create solution to automate whenever possible and to reduce manual intervention in current processes. - Proficient in UNIX Shell scripting language - Providing guidance and assistance to SAS developers on operational and technical issues. - Act as SME for SAS enhancements projects & upgrade planning. - Executing needed change control to move enhancements into production. - Act as a single point of contact to resolve/perform issues/investigations related to SAS production and new enhancements. - Work on Unix SAS server maintenance activities for server space management, archival and timely cleanup. - Evaluate current processes across various developed processes for future enhancements. - Perform pre analysis & impact of the current processes to identify and resolve bottlenecks & data issues on regular basis. - Perform Adhoc Analysis and coding for creating on demand business reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. - Work on proper communication and documentation for ticket resolution for various defects and change requests related to business applications assigned. - Work closely with other team members for monitoring the SAS/KSH weekly/monthly data warehouse loads. - Work independently to resolve issues and escalate to management and other teams as needed. - Working with the business to gather enhancement requirements & implementing enhancements. - Hands on experience in supporting business processes in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence world and management of: SAS server components - SAS Metadata Server, Workspace Server, Stored Process Server.
