Start date: 1/12 LOA: 12 months+ *Job Title*: Oracle Data Warehouse Architect *location:Virginia,VA* Our client is moving to a new manager reporting system, so they need a data architect to design the information warehouse. They haven't picked a tool yet, and do not have an information warehouse today. They currently use a copy of their transactional system, which is not tuned to reporting. This consultant would work with DBAs, functional team, and manager reporting teams to understand data sources, and understand their strategy for designing the data warehouse. Responsibilities will include designing and developing data warehouse environments, gathering system requirements, reporting, data modeling, and data integration. Higher Education and data warehousing in a LARGE scale environment is also required.
