*POSITION OVERVIEW:*

The Senior ETL Consultant will be part of the Program Management Office
(PMO), and will work with team members. Major areas of responsibility
include participating in the design, documentation, development, testing,
installation and support of data extract, transformation and load (ETL)
programs.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

Data analysis, creation and management of metadata
Analyze source data for potential data quality issues and addressing these
issues in ETL procedures, developing data movement and data quality
processes in support of reporting requirements, working as a member of the
data warehouse team to implement reporting and analytic solutions to the
business community
Perform ETL testing tasks as part of ETL Business operations for data
dissemination, suggest and implement improvements in ETL Business process
Support testing Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes into an
Oracle RDBMS
Document implemented ETL processes for knowledge sharing and hand-off
*REQUIRED ELEMENTS:*

Must have *7 to 10 years data ETL development and architect* experience
Experience in design, development, and administration of ETL tools -
*Informatica
required*
Experience with a *data warehouse* environment with an understanding of *data
warehouse and business intelligence* best practices and methodologies
Experience in translating business needs into *technical solutions required*
Experience in *software development* or *software design* required
Experience working with *Oracle 10g*
Experience with developing *Oracle PL/SQL* stored procedures and anonymous
blocks for data conversion purposes
Experience with Perl and Korn shell scripting (Desired)
Experience with configuration management practices and procedures and
structured software development methodologies
Candidate should be a fast learner, able to diagnose technical challenges
through reading code and supporting technical documentation
Candidate should be a team player, able to work with analysts, developers
and DBAs
Must have excellent client relationship; verbal and written communication
skills
