*REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE*

*Key Skills & Background: *

   - Experience with Telco IT based technology preferably in a telco
   environment.
   - Working knowledge of the telephone/telecom industry
   - Worked for or With a Network Equipment Supplier or Tier 1 Service
   Supplier.
   - Sun Server (not StorageTek) hardware and Software (Solaris) working
   knowledge.
   - The person will be a key working member of the MAS account team, but
   will also need to help with the facilitation of resolutions of technical and
   business deliverables to ALU for MAS
   - Project Management and Engineering background. With an understanding of
   Solaris software and the CMT based products.
   - Able to track issue and problems to find resolutions in an efficient
   manner with total customer satisfaction and keep the Account team fully
   aware of the actions and methods of resolving the issues.
   - Ability to oversee custom development projects with outside companies.
   - Ability to talk with customer at all levels, executive to engineer.
   - Interact with the Account Team as a valued add member.



*Key Responsibilities: *

   - Assists the Win Team in major bids and project definition/qualification
   to ensure that the appropriate resources and commercial aspects are
   identified and planned in line with delivery capabilities.
   - Work with he key technical SMEs within LCS (Engr's), Account
   Team(SE's), OEM Support Org., Service Support and the Business Unit's
   (Netra, Storage, etc) to ensure timely and responsive resolution of
   technical issues (software, firmware or hardware) for the MAS program.
   - Work with the MAS Platform group and ensure any technical issues are
   resolved so the customer’s Application Product Groups (ISG, SurePay, SMSC,
   others that are migrating back to the N5440 Baseline) will use the MAS
   platform.
   - Track issue and problems to find resolutions within the account team,
   Sun's Netra business unit, and customer’s technical community.
   - Oversee custom development projects involving Sun Engineering and/or
   outside technical organizations.
   - Helps to assemble project teams/resources that ensure the required
   skills and level of resource are obtained or identified for activities
   within the project.
   - Ensure quality controls, issues, risks, and constraints are identified
   and appropriately managed.
   - Responsible for maintaining project artifacts in AIM and project status
   in Project Health Monitoring
   - Works as leader in transitions between sales and delivery
