Please find below requirement and kindly send me suitable profiles ASAP Location: Philadelphia, PA 5 needs: 1 sr., 3 mid level, 1 jr Duration: 6 month contract -would like to hire after the contract *EAD OR GC OR CITIZEN - no H1* Programmer Analyst *Job Description & Responsibilities*: Directs and provides technical expertise for the development and maintenance of computing systems and software including software built on the Microsoft stack (.NET/SQL Server). Development includes providing leadership from design to implementation while ensuring total computing system quality and integrity for functional areas such as software analysis, design, construction, and testing disciplines. Establishes and administers development plans and leads technical reviews. Represents the group at meetings, makes presentations, and trains and guides other personnel. Primary duties of this position include: - Develop and modify computing systems and software and improve their reliability by designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing software routines, modules, and programs; working with technology areas such as mathematical analysis, system modeling, and data modeling techniques - Resolve computing systems software problems by investigating and analyzing problems; implementing solutions; applying standard software analyst disciplines and techniques such as performance monitoring, debugging, and reverse engineering. - Ensure accurate computing systems and software development, maintenance, and problem resolution by discussing and clarifying technical specifications with project managers, analysts, and other programmers; and executing software life cycle management practices. - Enhance the quality of computing systems and software by participating in peer group design reviews to present design solutions and evaluate those of others; influencing peer groups and customers to select the recommended design and implementation approaches; and providing training and guidance to less experienced programmer-analysts. - Verify that computing systems are maintainable by ensuring that system design, data flow, logic processes, interfaces, data relationships, operational characteristics, and user instructions are documented in compliance with established standards and requirements. - Support product delivery requirements and commitments by applying project management techniques such as task identification, estimating, task assignments, and scheduling; and providing and analyzing metrics information. - Oversee and perform the verification of computing system quality, accuracy, integrity, and functionality by applying operational, functional, and computing system testing disciplines and established configuration control disciplines; and organizing, scheduling, and evaluating the work of other personnel. *Qualifications*: - Prefer 4-year degree in computer science, mathematics, science, engineering, or a related discipline - 4 or more years' experience as a level 1 software programmer-analyst with demonstrated proficiency in the appropriate engineering discipline. - Prefer candidates with good understanding of software programming standards, practices, and tools. - Should have well-developed communication and teaming skills. - Work experience for a financial services firm is a plus. - Highly knowledgeable in 3 of the following technology groups (with expert knowledge in 1): - *Object oriented programming with C#.NET* (abstraction, information hiding, data abstraction, encapsulation, modularity, polymorphism, inheritance) - *Web development with ASP.NET* - *RDBMS with SQL Server Database Engine 2005/2008* (data modeling/normalization, optimization techniques/indices/profiler, TSQL - expertise) - *SQL Service Integration Services and/or Reporting Services* - Scripting technologies (Perl, Python) - Data Warehousing with SQL Server Database Engine & Analysis Services 2005/2008 (operational data stores, metadata management, data marts, star/snowflake schemas) Thanks and Regards, *Anil Kumar** * TRUSTEK INC | 1001 Durham Ave, Suite # 101, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 | Work: (410)-782-0969| Fax: (866)-294-1314| [email protected] | YIM: anil.trustek | ========================================================== If you wish not to receive emails any longer - reply with "REMOVE" in subject line ========================================================== --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-DBA-OCP" group.
