Position: PHP web Developer Duration: 2 to 4 months. Location: bay area, CA. Local consultant required Description: We would like to engage a professional web developer to move the "My Services" page from the Synacor hosting environment onto the Surewest Hosting environment. The page is hosted in a largely "Black Box" environment and would need to be reverse engineered. The current functionality of the page is not overly complex, and includes some conditional content based on variables available in the environment. It appears that the current page is developed in PHP. The access to the current page is through a proprietary CMS system. The intended hosting environment is a LAMP environment on Debian (Etch) Linux with Apache 2.0, Mysql 5, and PHP5 . There would need to be some interaction potentially with Sybase. PERL is in wide use in the hosting environment, and knowledge and experience with PERL is a plus. Also, there are a number of web services interactions with SOAP 1.0 compliant web services. A functional knowledge of web services is a must. Required Skills: AJAX,PERL, PHP5, CSS, DHTML, SPRY.
