Please find below requirement and kindly send me suitable profiles ASAP GREEN CARD OR EAD PREFERRED Location: Wilmington, DE Duration: 6 months + *MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS* Senior SQL Server Database/BI Developer *Required Qualifications*: - Minimum 5+ years experience with MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 suite of tools including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS - Strong MS SQL Server development skills; experience writing T-SQL scripts, dynamic SQL, complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SQLCMD - Demonstrated ability to monitor, analyze and tune database performance - Understand and experience working with data warehouse architecture (tables over 100MM records) and concepts including dimensional modeling and relational modeling - Strong communication skills, with ability to quickly learn business processes and requirements - Extensive experience in ETL design/development using MS DTS and SSIS including data extraction and transformation between multiple data sources (Oracle, MS Access, MS Excel) - At least one instance of hands-on experience upgrading SQL Server to 2005/2008 - Designing databases in support of high performing web applications - Exposure to business intelligence projects specifically focused on data visualization including dashboards and reports leveraging charts, gauges, and drill-through - Experience with Agile development using Scrum - Min. B.S. Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience *Desired Qualifications*: - Understanding of metadata and data quality concepts; experience working with a metadata repository - Experience with SQL Server partitioning - Experience using .Net framework to create SQL Server objects - Experience of working in a busy office environment and strong interpersonal skills *Responsibilities*: - Work closely with Lead Architect and peer developers in a team environment - Participate in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, including unit and system testing, implementation, and maintenance - Work with a team of developers following the Scrum framework for Agile development to deliver high-quality applications over short periods of time - Efficiently build robust database solutions within specifications, tight time frames, and budget - Follow development procedures, version control, and build processes - Communicate with team, management, and customer - A meticulous eye for detail.
