*Role:* WebMethods Developer
*Location:* Dallas (Downtown) – Local to TX or Nearer to TX
*Duration:* 6 month contract

*DUTIES:*
Build new interfaces and enhancements to existing interfaces using *webMethods
Developer, DSPs, and Trading Networks 7.1.*
Testing of new and modified interfaces for compliancy with the
specifications.
*SKILLS:*
At least two (2) years experience with development using WebMethods 6.1 or
higher and the following
*WebMethods modules:* Integration Server, Trading Networks, and Developer.
Demonstrated pragmatic execution of technology projects with critical
timelines.
Moderate business integration and interoperability architecture experience.
Be able to communicate issues with the customer clearly and concisely.
*Must be* able to debug Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapter Services.
*Must be* able to work with communication protocols including AS2, SFTP,
HTTPS, and SSL.
Knowledge of utilizing source safe software such as Visual Source Safe
(VSS).
*Must be able* to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
*Must be able* to quickly understand new concepts and technologies.
*Must be able* to use middleware to convert flat files into XML and vice
versa.
*DESIRED SKILLS:*
Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, n-tier architectures, and
messaging middleware.
Java programming skills.
Knowledge of XML and XML schemas.
Knowledge of EDI X12 documents.
*COMMUNICATION SKILLS:*
Ability to communicate proactively to team/management members with any
potential issues that may hinder the ability to meet project deadlines.
Ability to explain complex technical issues/concepts to non-technical
people.
Ability to facilitate a small group of stakeholders to elicit requirements
and build consensus.
*EDUCATION:*
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent
