Please find below requirement and kindly send me suitable profiles ASAP Unix Production Support -- Herndon, VA - Quick Hire Job: Unix Production Support Phone + Face to Face Description Require a contractor to fill the position of 24x7 Production Support for CAP Financial Reporting applications. The primary responsibility will be to provide shift support during the 9-Day Month End processing. Outside of Month End, the contractor is expected to support the GAGO Development/Test teams, maintain and resolve GAGO Infrastructure issues, develop and maintain Operational scripts /software as needed. *Other Requirements*: - Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide off-hour support as needed. - Strong UNIX knowledge. Experience in Linux/Solaris/AIX. - Working experience in UNIX shell and Perl scripting. - Knowledge of web services. HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic is a plus. - Knowledge of ETL products. - AbInitio is a plus. - Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands. - Experience in system monitoring tools. - Develop and follow up Standard Operational Procedures. - Well developed written and verbal communication skills. - A team player. Need to work closely with other team members. - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or - 6 years + of IT related working experience. - Working knowledge in Oracle database and applications. - Experience in system monitoring tools. - Experience in creating automation tools. - C++, Java, UI development - Experience in workflow/business process management products is a plus. - Trouble ticket system, like Remedy. *Qualification Rating* - 4-7 years engineering experience in IT environment - 5+ Yrs. - Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related field-Yes - Experience in implementation methodologies and the application development environment-Yes - Knowledge of the appropriate business functional area and the business - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) - Proven leadership experience - Yes - Proven management skills - Yes - Work Experience: IT - 2-4 years UNIX experience with strong shell scripting skills - 3+ Yrs.
