Understanding of 3NF modeling and Dimensional(Star Schema) modeling - A MUST Experience with Business Objects design 3+ years as a BTEQ developer and 1+ years experience as a Lead developer or ETL architect in the Teradata Environment *AT&T Job Description: * * The candidate needs to be a solid and seasoned IT Datawarehouse designer with deep understanding of large scale reporting, including business and technical approaches * Strong business background with exceptional communication skills * Data Warehouse design experience; the resource needs to be proficient in assessing, designing and performance tune a reporting solution in a Teradata environment. * The candidate needs to be a solid and seasoned IT business analyst with deep understanding of data warehousing from a business and technical perspective * Strong experience with SQL and BTEQ * Ability to write clear requirements and bridge the gap between IT and the business * Excellent communication and customer skills * Teradata experience, or experience working with over 5 terabytes of data (10 + million records) * Strong experience with Informatica-based ETL processes Strong Skills in data modeling and knowledge of the ERwin data modeling tool. *Responsibilities: * The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for the same activities as the Technical Architect but has a broader scope of responsibilities and more in-depth business and technical knowledge. Responsible for multiple projects or large complex projects with cross functional teams and business processes. Demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple technical and business functional areas as well as performing a larger leadership role in the organization. Apply broad in- depth business and technical knowledge to establish technical direction and priorities. Resolve and work on issues across multiple functional areas. Effectively monitor and take action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and decide on issues requiring escalation.
