What It Is Disciples Cross is a company based in Slidell, Louisiana by John Raymond. He is a pastor of a church there and has appeared on the TV show Survivor: Thailand. His company makes and sells cross necklaces. Product These Disciple Cross necklaces are made from leather, wire, and four nails. They come in a variety of colors. They are an inch and a half tall and an inch wide. What They Do They have a huge market and ever since John has been on the survivor, the market has grown even more for these crosses. They have developed a program where they send you materials and you can make your own crosses. What you do with these crosses is your business, but you could keep them, sell them, or participate in The Disciples Cross buyback program which buys the finished cross back from you and you make a profit. Disciples Crosses Buyback Program I have done a lot of research on what this company is and what it stands for. Unfortunately, I am not at this time involved in the buyback program. I hope to be involved by this summer. To be involved in this program you have to buy a starter kit from their website They allow you to sell 400 crosses a week, with the buyback program they give you $2.25 per cross that they accept. With shipping and handling when you send the crosses back and after you account for the cost of the materials, you could make $500 a week. This is assuming that they accept 100% of your finished crosses. The Research The research I have done reveals that some people absolutely love this program or some people absolutely hate this program. As I have said before I have never partcipated in the Disciples Cross buyback program and I don't know the percentages of the crosses that they buyback. I have read some forums where a couple of people have some very strong things to say about this company. This person could have just had a bad experience with the company and talked trash about them, I don't know. What I do know is what convinced me to join over the summer, their ministry. John Raymond is a pastor of a church and the owner of this business. A business can usually manipulate you to get money from you by cheating you. Some people say that the church is a cover up for his corrupt business practices, I don't know it could be. But I have watched this church's website, they update it and put pictures and everything. This is an active church and lots of them partcipate in the business. I have also read about forums that date back to 2004, I would think if this business was completly corrupt that it would be over four years later. Conclusion The crosses are beautiful and not the expensive. As for the Disciples Cross Buyback program, I believe it would work, for some more than others. I do believe that if you want to maximize your profit, you should buy the crosses and sell them locally.
