This is my direct client opening for Software Test Analyst - Austin,
Texas. This is a long term contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A. Knowledge and hands-on experience with testing benefit
applications.
B. Knowledge and hands-on experience with the use of testing tools
(e.g. QTP Mercury products).
C. Knowledge of procedures for controlling, logging, batching,
editing, coding, or balancing data entry or information retrieval work
areas.
D. Knowledge and experience with data verification and reviewing
application code.
E. Knowledge and experience with testing techniques.
F. Excellent analytical skills.
G. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
H. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
I. Ability to prepare and maintain records, files, and reports.
J. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with
internal customers
Requirements:
Skills/Experience
3 Years: Experience with business and development
processes.
3 Years: Proficiencient in various disciplines related
to QA testing
3 Years: Knowledgeable with Oracle databases.
3 Years: Experience as a Senior level tester
Strong: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
Preferences:
Skills/Experience
3 Years: Experience with State of Texas agencies.
2 Years: Proficiencies in Retirement and Investment
programs.
Strong: Effectively communicate at all levels in all
departments, including senior executives.
Strong: High degree of flexibility and high tolerance of
ambiguity.
