This is my direct-client opening for a Software QA Engineer - Foster City,
CA. This is a Contract to Hire Position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Our client
is Open to H1B Visa Candidates as well.

Individual will be performing client side testing - as well as API
integration testing Programming skills: VB script/java script/C#/Active X
Knowledge of Medical Imaging HL7, DICPM< PACS

Candidate Responsibilities
Represent General Quality Engineering disciplines on a cross functional
development team. Represent System test disciplines on issue management
teams with the ability to pass judgment on the severity of defects. Perform
test planning and management of test activities with focus on test
verification and validation planning. Generate and verify product defects.
Support Process engineering activities for R&D owned processes. Perform
white and black box testing of our iSite application as well as API testing
for our open source API. Ability to lead QE testing efforts with managing
resources identified in test plan documents as well as tracking the testing
deliverables during project execution.
Candidate Profile
Technically advanced software and system test skills. Three to five years of
experience in test planning, design, execution and reporting is mandatory. A
software development skill in a Microsoft Windows environment is preferred.
BSCS, BSEE or equivalent engineering degree is necessary. Previous knowledge
of PACs systems and environment is highly desired. Knowledge of modality
(MR, CT, XR, NM) image display and manipulation. Programming knowledge of
C++, JavaScript and VBScript and prior experience working with ActiveX
controls a must Knowledge of a regulated DOD, FAA, or FDA development
environment is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation and presentation
skills are a requirement.
