This is my direct client opening for Senior Java Test Analyst - Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6-12 months contract position. The Hourly rate is $45/hr. Technical Knowledge: Minimum years experience in the following areas: 4 or more years experience in performance/load/stress testing (including planning and execution) 4 or more years of experience with Mercury LoadRunner or comparable testing tool (this includes writing scripts and reviewing test results) 5 years Server-side JAVA 3 or more years Oracle - SQL/PL/SQL/Tuning 2 years Spring 1-2 years Hibernate 1-2 years Web Services 1-2 years SOA 1-2 years JSF At least 4 years Weblogic experience LINUX/UNIX 2 years JMS preferred Work related skills: Required: Looking for a person with deep performance/scalability/stress testing experience. This person will lead the effort to develop and document a system stress testing plan. The system at hand will be a J2EE system using ESRI's ArcGIS server. There will be high transaction volumes and hundreds of users. The person will also be responsible for the execution of the plan. The candidate needs to have experience in this area - ideally with Mercury LoadRunner, but another tool might suffice. Person should be independent and able to conform to aggressive schedules.
