This is my direct client opening for EMC SMARTS Application Architect/consultant- Taylor, Texas. This is a 5 months contract position. The Hourly rate is $55/hr. Description: Responsibilities: populating the Atrium CMDB with data from the EMC SMARTS discovery tool. You will be employed to architect, deploy, support, and in some cases, train users on the EMC SMARTS Application Discovery Manager. Candidate should expect to contribute to the development of services management solutions and deliverables leveraging the EMC Smarts product. Experienced candidates should have some knowledge of: * Business Impact Manager (BIM) administration * Open Integrations adaptor (OI) customization * Applications Connectivity Manager (ACM) administration * Custom integrations with Open API * Some custom scripting capability in PERL, C+, Shell Required Skills * Expert understanding of utilizing EMC Smarts * Integrations of EMC Smarts with BMC Remedy * Knowledge of Systems Management best practices * Application Systems Management skills in utilizing EMC Smarts to manage the Application dependencies * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, conducive to team development * Perl, C+ and Shell scripting experience Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.
