*Core Skills*: Star / Snowflake schemas, ER modeling, SQL, DB2, Oracle, ETL,
RDBMS, Data Architecture experience
*Role is for a Data Architect *
Responsible for data acquisition, data access, data analysis and data design
Creation of logical data models and physical designs to meet business
requirements
- Knowledgeable in Star/Snowflake schemas and traditional ER
modeling
Integrate new data with existing warehouse structure
Continuous improvement for the functions of the system
Data mapping from source to target systems/databases, including required
data transformations
Apply RDBMS knowledge to design physical data model with focus on data
integrity, performance, reuse, recoverability and archival
Develop SQL queries
Conduct data model reviews
Build consensus around the data models with business and technical teams
Support development, system and integration test
Identify and remedy data model defects
Assist in developing standards, metadata and so on
Practice proper change control processes
Perform data conversions from Access to DB2/Oracle
Produce project artifacts needed for project execution and implementation

*Requirements: *
Data Architect on several recent projects
Extensive experience with data modeling and analysis tools
Experience with DB2 and Oracle databases
Familiarity with extract, transform and load (ETL) tools (e.g. Informatica)
Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating scope, design, and
development issues, and recommending potential solutions
Business knowledge in Banking, Financial Services or Risk Management
