The support responsibilities include: on-call support, troubleshooting, incident notification and resolution, problem management/analysis, and root cause identification. 2. Interacts with and coordinates the monitoring activities of cross-functional teams, including business, development, system administration, database administration, network engineering and production support staff. 3. Helps to develop and document standard procedures and best practices in our technical repository. ========================================= *Technical Requirements of the position* ========================================= * Minimum *three years* of experience with the installation, configuration, administration of: ** *HP BAC, version 6.9 or higher* ** *HP SiteScope, version 8.9 or higher* * Preference to candidates with *HP [or Mercury] certification* or documented training. * Advanced* SiteScope* configuration for monitoring application servers (such as WebLogic), network bandwidth, log files, JVMs, processes and daemons, etc. * Understanding of the *integration* of *HP BAC & SiteScope tools*. * Proficient with development of VuGen HTTP scripts for business application monitoring - 3+ years. * Experience with monitoring dashboards. * Proficient with the *configuration of HP BAC Service Level Availability*. * *Windows OS and UNIX/Linux command line experience*. * Experience with Remedy and problem ticket management. * Understanding of principles of web and systems engineering. * Knowledge / experience of RUM, QTP and CMDB. * Developer background with knowledge of C or and C++ programming languages. * Understands and willing to follow software development lifecycles.
