Database Developer Individual(s) selected would be required to design, develop, implement, refine and analyze large, complex SQL Server 2005 databases and equally large, complex SQL Server Integration Services Packages and associated business process. As a database team member we are looking for individuals that can serve multiple roles, understand business requirements, and convert them into systems designs. The ability to do understand business processes and the way that those processes impact systems is as important as systems knowledge. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ' Designing, modeling and documenting database schema ' Designing, modeling and documenting SSIS packages ' Understanding business processes and converting them into schema and ETL processes ' Performance tuning of stored procedures ' Developing stored procedures, triggers, functions and views ' Collaborate with Architects, Developers, QA engineers, and Project Managers ' Estimate development tasks and deliver work items on schedule ' Innovate new solutions and keep up with new and emerging technologies Experience: QUALIFICATIONS ' BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience ' 5 years experience programming SQL on MS SQL Server 2000/2005 ' In-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005, TSQL ' Exposure to C# and the .NET development environment (2005) is desirable ' Exposure to other databases and tools is helpful but not required. Of particular interest are MySQL and Informatica. ' Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills ' Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. ' Ability to work both independently and in a team.
