Position:Software Engineer

Accountabilities: The Software Engineer Job Family includes
engineering positions for the development and support of applications,
databases, diagnostics, firmware,
drivers, BIOS, utilities, and scripts; Accountabilities: Develop
Software (PRP), Test Software (PRP), Develop Test Strategy and Test
Cases (PRP), Integrate
Software (PRP), Deliver Complete Software (PRP), Maintain Software
(PRP);
>Responsible for the design & development of systems management
software products.
>Responsible for the delivery of products within budget, schedule,
and quality guidelines .
>Responsible for the design and/or development of software for
platforms, peripherals, applications or tools using a range of
applicable technologies
(e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers and other
tools) and state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies.
>Responsible for the delivery of products within budget, schedule, and quality
>guidelines.
• Will work in a team developing Enterprise State of the art systems
management software product driving its design, implementation, unit/
integration test and support
system test.
• Duties also include requirements collection, designing, developing
technical specifications and enhancing software for cutting edge Dell
Server, storage and business
client architecture.
• Duties will also include carrying out validation of the developed
enhancements
• Expertise in C# and ASP.NET, XML, C++ and Java in systems
programming
• Preferably from Systems Management Software, OS and resource
monitoring domains
• Expertise in at least one OS flavor (Windows or Linux server)
• Good application and OS debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
Experience/knowledge for:
CIM profile development
CIM-XML development
DMTF (this word anywhere in the resume)
SDK development
Experience: 6-8 years
