Database Design Engineer III RESPONSIBILITIES: * SRC is the prime contractor supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). * The mission of the TRMC is to plan for and assess the adequacy of the Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB); to provide adequate testing in support of development, acquisition, fielding, and sustainment of defense systems; and to maintain awareness of other Test and Evaluation (T&E) facilities and resources and their impacts on DoD requirements. * The TRMC manages three major investment programs, the Central Test and Evaluation Investment Program (CTEIP), the Test and Evaluation / Science and Technology (T&E/S&T) Program, and the Joint Mission Environment Test Capability (JMETC) Program. * This person is responsible for developing and maintaining the CTEIP CWEB and T&E/S&T TESTWEB financial reporting database. * They will work closely with the CTEIP and T&E/S&T Program Managers, Principal Investigators, and Program Management Office staff to determine requirements and developed new versions of these web-based databases. * Provide continual upgrades, maintenance, and training support of the resulting systems. * Assist the Program Managers on other applications as required. * Current technologies being used: Oracle 10g on a Windows 2003 Server, Cold Fusion 8, Toad for Oracle, and Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. MINIMUM SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: * BS/MS in Software Engineering discipline. Oracle and SQL background is preferred. * At least 10 years experience in software/database development. DESIRED SKILLS: * Familiarity with the Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB). * Excellent communications and writing skills.
