(Occasional trips to the Greenfield facility may be required)* *Duration: 1 Year* *Rate: **$30/hr on C to C * * Skill/Experience Requirements: * *§ 5 years of Perl experience* *§ 2+ years of experience in developing Web Services in Perl and Java/C#* *§ XML* *§ 4+ years of experience in developing web applications using AJAX, perl-cgi, applets* *§ 4+ year of development experience in LINUX/UNIX environment with expertise in application configuration management, specially Perl installation and configuration.* *§ 2+ years of solid experience in understanding inner working/details of both Apache web server and MySQL database.* *§ Experience with requirements gathering and analysis* *§ Experience with system design* *§ Ability to produce software development life cycle documentations * *§ Strong team player* *§ Strong communication skills* *§ Ability to work well under pressure* * * *The candidate will also have to understand the underlying biology and the content of the databases to be integrated.* *Desired Skill Set**:* *Bioinformatics domain knowledge is a plus, knowledge of Ensembl genome browser is a huge plus. * *Understanding of data quality measures * *Understanding of validation documentation such as system requirements and design, Requirements Traceability Matrix, and Test Summary Report * *Test script development and execution for unit and system testing * *Position Comments:* *Integrative Informatics (I2) will build the information mining capability necessary to support Tailored Therapeutics. I2 will focus on helping scientists seek correlations and find connections between pre-clinical (i.e., animal) and clinical knowledge to generate and test translational hypotheses.
