Requirement:
**Experience in the Securities and Trading industry particularly with respect
to trade settlement and reporting.
**Testing of electronic financial messaging standards/protocols including FIX.
**Strong knowledge of testing on Windows and Linux/UNIX platforms is required.
**At least five years of successful commercial software testing experience is
preferred.
**Candidate must demonstrate good knowledge of SQL and relational database
concepts.
**Candidate must also have sufficient technical writing skills to generate test
documentation and to clearly and accurately
report bugs.
**Experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting tools such as Cognos is
preferred.
**Experience with Data Warehouses, such as testing ETLs, Data Marts, and data
quality is a plus.
**Experience in testing regulatory reports and real time reporting to the
exchanges is a plus.
**Test Case Design, Planning and Implementation
*Working knowledge of XML and related transforms a plus
**Autonomy
**GUI Testing of Java and/or .Net Applications
**Generation of SQL scripts for complex data analysis
**UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting
**Fault Tolerance Testing across TCP/IP
**Python Scripting Experience Desired
**Functional Testing of Middleware & Multi-platform Applications

Duration : 6 months
Rate : $55-60/Hr
