Job Description:
Analyzes business requirements/processes and system integration points
to determine appropriate technology solutions. Designs, codes, tests
and documents applications based on system and user requirements.
Accountabilities: Prepares flow charts and systems diagrams to assist
in problem analysis, Responsible for preparing design documentation,
Designs, codes, tests and debugs software according to client's
standards, policies and procedures, Codes, tests and documents
programs according to system standards. Prepares test data for unit,
string and parallel testing, Analyzes business needs and creates
software solutions, Evaluates and recommends software and hardware
solutions to meet user needs, Interacts with business users and I/T to
define current and future application requirements;
To be considered, candidates need to have strong development skills
and experience with XSLT, XPATH, XML, SOAP, Web Services, and specific
experience with Java and Microsoft .NET. Also, a solid foundation in
the following languages: HTML, ASP, VBScript/JScript, Java, and/or C#
also desirable. Candidates must have working knowledge of relational
databases, interacting with Oracle 9i, 10g and SQL Server 2000, 2005,
2008. Extensive OO programming experience required. A strong knowledge
of development and version control in Microsoft Visual Studio, VSS,
and VSTS are also required. Mercury Interactive experience a plus.
