As the scale goes up we expect more knowledge and experience. This is obviously written for an in-house candidate but reflects the skill sets we are looking for. Address *COBOL Mainframe Developer* Under general supervision and using established procedures and policies; applies intermediate skills to provide general systems analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for IT systems used by Client. Devise or modify procedures to solve less routine and moderately complex problems taking into consideration computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. *Designs, codes, tests, debugs, implements, documents, and maintains IMS based transportation applications. * ** *Job Requirements:* Ideal candidate must have 3 to 5 years of recent work experience with IBM mainframe application development using COBOL on an IMS platform. Candidate will have intermediate knowledge/experience using *DL/1, JCL and TSO/ISPF*. Intermediate knowledge and/or experience in data communications, relational databases (DB2, SYBASE, SQL) etc is preferred.
