Report Developer/Database Admin RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, develop and manage reports for various custom built and off the shelf software applications. * Detailed analysis of reports and underlying data, relative to meeting corporate goals. * Analyze business needs in response to direct requests from other departments. REQUIRED SKILLS * Strong working and/or development knowledge of Transact SQL. * Strong analytical, statistical, critical thinking, and problem identifying and solving skills * Must be an excellent communicator; includes writing, listening and verbal skills. * Must have strong working knowledge of custom development processes. * A high degree of flexibility, creativity, and innovation * Expert hands on experience with Crystal Reports and other reporting utilities * * * * Must be able to demonstrate accomplishments in systems requirements development as well as Quality Assurance efforts. * Expert level Microsoft Office experience. * Ability to work in self-directed and team environments * Ability to interact on a variety of personal and professional levels * Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines * IT Support/Help desk experience. * Base working knowledge of network and system management in a Microsoft Windows environment. OPTIONAL SKILLS * Experience with web development, VB/VBA or MS Access. * Experience with database modeling, optimization, backups, stored procedures, triggers, and SQL Scripting. * Working knowledge and/or development experience with any of the following languages asp .net, c#, java, java script. QUALIFICATIONS * 2 yr college degree * 5+ years related experience.
