* * JOB TITLE: RF UTRAN/UMTS ENGINEER LOCATION: MULTIPLE CONTRACT: 12+ MONTHS # OF POSITIONS: 4 PAY RATE: $50 PER HOUR** * * * * *Required Skills:* SKILLS REQUIRED: The candidate should have a clear understanding of UMTS/UTRAN RF Optimization Engineering principles including RF/Antenna propagation principles & theory, UTRAN Translation Parameters & the impact of its change, R99 & HSDPA algorithms, Call Processing & Signal flow between the UE & different network elements, CS/PS/HSDPA/HSUPA Translation Parameters, interfaces and relationships between the different network nodes/elements relative to the network performance. Should also be familiar with the activity of analysis of drive test data, issue identification [examples: coverage related, pilot pollution, Neighbor List, IRAT, SHO, IFHO, Drops (CS & PS), Accessibility (CS & PS)], recommendations (both physical & translation changes) & its implementation. The candidate must have knowledge of Performance Engineering concepts & should have previous work experience as a UMTS/CDMA Performance Engineer.
