Requirement: . 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services ( this is not a BA/PM type role- it is strictly Business Analyst) . Must have worked as a BA on large scale projects with multiple business units . Prefer background and experience with website redesign projects . Must have ability to organize, facilitate and document detailed requirements gathering sessions- this should be from prior experience . Should have experience using multiple methods to gather requirements from end-users . Must have used Agile, SS, and other project methodologies . Document business concepts and requirements in simplified Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Use Cases . Participate in the creation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and UAT Script . Manage the requirements traceability matrix . Strong organizational skills and very strong follow up skills needed . Strong Communication skills to lead meetings and ask questions . Strong writing skills for documentation . Great "Can do" attitude . Diplomatic, Savvy, and Client Service focused . Must have collaborative approach to working with others . Should have experience writing functional specifications as well as partnering to write technical specs with technology teams . Must be able to turn work around in a short period of time . Experience should include preparing and writing test cases . This is a 6 month+ contract . This position reports to the Project Manager Role and Responsibilities: The role of the Business Analyst is to work with the Business Units to gather and document the unit's requirements. The Business Analyst will need to organize, plan, facilitate and document the requirements gathering sessions. After requirements, it is expected that the Business Analyst will work to develop functional specifications as well as collaborate with the technical teams to develop technical specifications. This role is very hands on and will require a great can do attitude. This person must role up their sleeves to produce work in short periods of time. This is not a Project Manager position or a manager type role.
