C# Developer Summary of Job Duties Required Skills: . Strong skills in AVS and Java, and C# . Strong SQL skills with skills in PL/SQL programming. Having experience in Oracle or Sybase database. . Posses strong background in Object Oriented design and development. . Good Experience in Web services and service oriented architecture. . Good experience in design, development and deployment of applications in enterprise server platforms (Weblogic experience a plus). BA degree required Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in dealing within IT and with providing support to end users. . Must be a self-starter and be able to operate independently within a team members situated globally. . Highly analytical, pro-active and detail oriented. . Shows interest in professional development. . Design and Develop applications, interfaces and reports based on business and technical specifications provided by IT Business Analyst or other developers. . Design systems and prepare technical spec for various applications and interfaces. . Thoroughly test all applications & related software developed, prior to releasing to the QA Test team. . Learn about the Commodities business and requirements to enhance software design, development, testing and implementation skills. . Work closely with IT business analysts to understand the business and provide the best solutions for our user community. . Maintain existing Commodities related applications, interfaces and reports. . Providing support to the Quality Assurance team related to various IT specific projects and tasks. . Team player building technical systems in a combination of programming languages with emphasis on C#, and also including AVS and Java. . Writing Technical specifications and justifying development estimates. . Able to develop applications, interfaces and reports from the technical specifications. . Prepare technical code and support documentation for the delivered application components.
