This individual will Provide independent technical expertise in the management and delivery of PeopleSoft Enterprise applications as well as their interfaces applications. As a DBA/Admin you will be responsible for: · Support implementation of PeopleSoft ESA/FMS/HR and CRM 8.4 and higher applications. · Support People tools environments in PT 8.x and higher. · Plan and configure application and database environments in support of development and production including the Demo, Functional, Test, Development, Staging, Production environments. · Big plus knowledge on Taxware, STAT, ImageNow · Support Back-up processes for production and development databases as needed both locally for ongoing development and production support as well as for DR. · The DBA is required to engage users quickly to resolve current technical issues, make recommendations to stabilize production, assess, evaluate, and make recommendations (Best in Class, and Best For You) to streamline, and bullet proof application and database architecture Three or more years of database administration operations experience in a Peoplesoft environment · Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and its features · Previous experience with DTS, SSRS, and SSIS · Previous experience with enterprise reporting · Previous experience in Clustering, Replications, Log shipping, and High-Availability. · Expert knowledge of Transact SQL · Ability to perform code and design reviews · Promote/migrate SQL-Server objects from development to production instances · Understanding of the options available to support High Availability within the MS Technology · Demonstrated experience in large custom software development projects. · Performance Tuning? Monitor efficient use of memory and CPU resources · System Monitoring - Monitoring alert logs, dump files and other logs for errors.
